Research Interests
My research interests are in the areas of human dimensions of global climate change. Specifically, I analyze carbon sequestration at various spatial scales, urban heat islands, and glacial retreat. Other interests include positioning systems and spatial analysis of poverty, livelihood, and migration.

Current Research Projects
I want to continue to explore the human dimensions of global change. I plan to study the Himalayan glacial retreat, urban heat islands in world's major cities, and modeling carbon sequestration in various spatial and temporal scales are some of my future research plans.
